I don’t know about you – but I have not worn actual pants in a LONG time and I gotta say, I am LOVING it. Turns out wearing yoga pants for months actually IS a look. I honestly assumed I’d be home, so I could style a ton more looks and make a lot more cute posts, but really, I don’t have time for that shit right now (will I ever again?!) and sometimes I find more comfort hopping on my Peloton bike to get a workout in than I do trying to get cute and find a non-toddler/puppy filled location to take photos.
BUT. There is ONE brand that I want all mamas, and frankly, women to know about that I think would make for a fantastic gift for Christmas items for your girlfriends, sister, mom, friends, new mamas, or whomever on your list also might not want to wear pants again anytime soon – and that brand is True and Co.
True and Co is a female-founded lingerie company (based right here in the Bay Area) dedicated to making women feel amazing and encourage a community of inclusion – focusing on not just one body type, but ALL body types and celebrating each and every one of them. Recently, the brand reached out to me indicating they were working on a campaign of women all around the country in their new collection and wanted me to be involved.
This was one of the most exciting collaborations I’ve been asked to be a part of to date. No, my husband wasn’t a huge fan of the idea of me taking photos in underwear, but this campaign goes a lot deeper than that for me. I’m not confident in my body and haven’t remembered a time when I was, BUT, I have to look past that on a daily basis because I know I’m beautiful and know that all other women are as well, and there is no ONE ideal of what beauty is – but the idea around inclusivity is QUITE clear to me.
I was sent the True Body Lift Lace Triangle bra with matching hipsters in Dulce, along with their True Body Lift Scoop Neck bra in the new Fall color, Chili Pepper.
I’ve been an owner of True and Co. products before this partnership and was obsessed then because the materials are buttery soft, they have cups so you still look like you’re wearing a more formal bra even if you’re not, and they’re affordable, available at Nordstrom, and I love the mission – female founded and driven, with an anti-VS mindset that I truly admire.
Sponsored by True & Co, but as always, all opinions are my own.
