Alexis Frey is BACK and this time with an incredibly vulnerable episode, divulging the decisions that led her to her current sober lifestyle. She shares, for the very first time (truly, this hasn’t even been shared on her own podcast!) how some of the experiences in her early 20’s impacted her decision to take a break from alcohol. In addition, she highlights the questions to ask yourself if you’re considering a break from drinking, and how to focus on what your body feels when you first consider having a sip of alcohol, and the importance of intention when it comes to your drinking. For instance, are you going into an evening thinking “I can’t wait to black out” or “I am looking forward to relaxing and unwinding with my friends.”
One of the most profound things she shares, is how spirituality has become her safe haven, and how she’s identified other ways to relax, unwind and build new habits that don’t center around drinking.
As I mentioned, Alexis is the FIRST guest to ever appear TWICE on the podcast. You can find the first episode she joined HERE. I was also a guest on Alexis’ podcast, and you can find the episode where I joined her HERE.
